- Do I need to download the app to charge?
- No. Point your phone camera at the QR code on the charger and a Neutro checkout page opens in your browser. Pick card or USSD, approve it, and charging starts. The app adds reservations, favourites and history.
- How much does charging cost?
- The operator sets the tariff — typically ₦280–₦330 per kWh on DC fast chargers, plus a stated service charge. The full breakdown appears before you plug in, never after.
- What is the RFID card for?
- Tapping a card is the most reliable way to start a session when the mobile network at a site is weak. It costs ₦2,500 once, works across the whole network, and can be frozen from the app.
- Which connectors are supported?
- CCS2 and GB/T on DC fast chargers, Type 2 on AC. Filter the map by your car’s connector and only compatible stations are shown.
- I operate chargers — can I keep my own brand?
- Yes. You set your tariffs and your name stays on the hardware and in the app. Neutro provides the platform, the payment rails and the driver base; commercial terms are agreed with each operator directly.
- What happens if a charger fails mid-session?
- The session stops at the last verified meter reading and you are billed only for the energy delivered. The fault raises an alert to the operator with the charger’s error code attached.
